Traffic9 Media Founder: William Smith
William Smith has spent three decades mastering the art of digital marketing, starting as a self-taught coder and SEO enthusiast. He got his start at trailblazing companies like GoDaddy, WEB.com, Yodle, and TTEC, sharpening his expertise in Web Development, SEO Engineering, Media Purchasing, Lead Generation, and a host of other online marketing strategies.
In 2010, William founded Local Search Technologies in Phoenix, Arizona, and guided it to a successful exit in 2023 when a young investment firm acquired the company. Eager for a new challenge, moving to a Little River Towne in East Cincinnati off the Ohio River – he launched Traffic9 Media in 2024—serving home services businesses across the United States and Canada with a fresh approach to online growth.
Friendly and forward-thinking, William’s latest passion is integrating artificial intelligence into everyday operations. Whether it’s building AI chatbots or refining automated marketing funnels, he’s convinced these tools can revolutionize how small and local businesses operate.
Outside of work, you can catch him “geeking out” building custom gaming pc’s, volunteering in the community or exploring new coffee shops— which helps in fueling his new passion an never-ending curiosity in AI applications and automations.
On top of his hands-on experience, William also holds multiple certifications, including advanced programmatic advertising, CTV advertising, and native advertising. Above all, he believes in sharing knowledge and practical solutions—one digital breakthrough at a time.
